Top Ten Possibilities to Nurture Openly anxieTy
Why would you want to "nurture" anxiety? Isn't that total insanity? Although a bit counter-intuitive, nurturing what ails you will create much more peace than resisting it! In the case of anxiety, I am sure you will agree that peace may be preferred to tension and pressure... Also notice the boldness of NOT in Nurture Openly anxie Ty, as "not" that identity, not that "I": Indeed, you are not a fighter: you can love it all, even the "not" of the void, even the "not" known, even the "knot" of anxiety!
1. You are NOT your body
Are you this anxiety attack? Your muscles are tensed, and you can be alright with that. Your neck and your back may hurt, and they can have your permission to hurt.
2. You are NOT your emotions
Isn’t that amazing how hopeless you feel? Wow: suddenly no one loves you, and you are afraid you will end up all alone! Fear, and more fears. Like a bottomless pit!
3. You are NOT your mind
It can be like a soap opera in you: you must have done something really, like really wrong to be in that space… Bad you, bad you!

4. You are NOT at the wrong place
"This place where you are right now, God circled on a map for you!" wrote Hafiz. Think of how loving it is for Spirit to let you experience the illusion, as the best way to reveal truth…
5. Suffering is NOT the way to heaven
Why would you need to go to heaven when you can be in heaven? What does it take to be in heaven? Heaven is having, instead of lacking: make a list of ten things you are grateful for, right now!
6. I am NOT worthy
Good for you! This way, you can never be used as a commodity. Indeed, you have nothing to prove! You are perfect just as you are… Find 10 things perfect about your best friend or the person you most admire… Got it? Now place your name on it!
7. You can NOT let go
Let’s play with that! Pick up an object around you, something that won’t break… Hold it in your hands, and close your eyes. Imagine putting all the tenseness, all the fears, all the worry, all the anxieTy of the world in it! Got it? Now open your eyes and open your hands!

8. It’s a jungle OU T there
Do you see the world as being narrow and hostile? Do you feel that you might not make it: you’re too old, or too fat, or not rich enough… Go out and look at the sky… Count the stars, shape the clouds with your imagination: remember you were once a child!
9. You are NOT selfish
Do you perceive that everyone is against you, that no matter what you do, things turn against you, attack you, dislike you? OK, then turn around and see if there is someone you can assist... That’s right, give a hand!
10. You are NOT overwhelm
Just how much do you need to achieve to be happy? Stop, stop right now… Your “I-ness”, Highness, is at stake! Decide like the poet that today, you "have helped a bee out of the house, and that that was enough work for the day!"
